Crypt Keeper's Crypt Halloween Party Game

Halloween is our favorite time of year.  We always go all out with decorations, activities,  and games.  This game was a big hit with the family.

It is so much fun and you can change it up to match any holiday or theme.

You will need:
2-4 cauldrons (you could use garbage cans or buckets)

A bone for each player (we like to do 2 turns each, so we do twice as many bones)
Optional: life size skeleton

How to Play:

Have the group split into two teams.
Line up the teams on one side of the room or yard.

Place a cauldron with enough bones for each team member inside it in front of each team.
Place a cauldron on the other side of the room or yard.

Each team member must race one at a time, waddling with the bones between their legs or thighs, to the cauldron across the room or yard. No Hands!

The players must drop the bones into the cauldron and run back to their team.  If the bone was dropped anytime before the cauldron they must start over.  If the bone does not land in to cauldron, you must start over.

Once the player has returned, the next player can go.
Repeat until all the players have had a turn.

The first group to finish is the winner.

If you want to soften the fall, you can put spider webs, cotton balls or batting in the bottom of the cauldron.  This might look like smoke.

There are many different ways to play this game.

Witches Brew
Gather up all your fun unbreakable Halloween decorations for ingredients for your witches Brew.  We used a plastic skull, foam pumpkin, squishy shrunken head, plastic rat, plastic body organs, brain, yellow ball for the moon, fake fruit, doll, spiders, Scorpions, plastic potion bottles, crystal balls (glitter filled water balls),  etc.

Pumpkin Plop
Foam or mini pumpkins & gourds of different kinds.

Skulls

Sewer Rats
Sewer  rats into a small metal garbage can.

Eyes
You can use ping pong eyes, inflatable eyes, or paint some small balls into eyes.

Werewolf Droppings
Like the Poop the Potato game.  Here's a Link to their video.  But, they didn't create the game, it's actually been around for quite a while.  It was a good reminder from childhood, and we decided to play it for our family party. We later played it at my daughter's birthday party.  They loved it!

*This game is definitely one of those games that depending on who you are playing it with, it's either a big hit or a big miss.   People either think it's hilarious or just gross.
*Play with silly crazy fun people only.

Spiders into a Web
I would use large spiders or bugs, and drop them into a net (looks like a web)

You could use Halloween stuffed animals or bean bags.
The possibilities are limitless.

Candy Bar Party Game

mustruninthefamily.com

We love to play fun and crazy games in our home for family night.  I first learned this game from my sister.  She had played it at a friend's house and wanted to play it at her birthday party.  It's so much fun and is perfect for all ages.  It would be perfect for family game, a birthday party, a class party, and a family reunion.
All you need is two dice, at least one candy bar for each player (a variety) and a brown bag or large cup for each player.

The candy bar can be giant sized, snack sized or a mix of all sizes.

Place the candy bars in a pile in the middle of the table.

Each player sits in a circle around a table or on the floor.
There are three rounds to this game.

Round One
Take turns in sitting order rolling the dice.
If the player rolls a 7 or 11, they get to take a candy bar from the pile.
(we've played using doubles instead of a 7 or 11 before too)

Play continues until all the candy bars are taken.
Players can have more than one candy bar, and some players might not have one at all.

Round Two
Continue play rolling the dice as before.
Each player must place their candy bars they won in front of them.
Except, you may now steal the candy bars from the other players when a 7 or 11 is rolled.

Again, some people might end up with a lot of candy bars and some might have none.

Decide how long to play the round.  You might adjust time according to the amount of people playing.
We played 10 minutes.

Round Three
Give each player a brown bag, large cup (or you can just hide the candy bar behind your back or under the table)
Each player must place their candy bars in the brown bag or the cup to disclose what you have.

You continue to steal the candy bars from the other players when a 7 or 11 is rolled.  Except, now you have to be able to name the hidden candy bar and the person that has it.  If you get this wrong you can't take the candy bar.

Again, some people might end up with a lot of candy bars and some might have none.

Decide how long to play the last round.  You might adjust time according to the amount of people playing.
We played 10 minutes, then were having so much fun we added another 10 minutes.

Depending on who's playing, you might consider having a few candy bars to handout to the losers.
Little kids might cry, and some adults too.
A friend of mine gives out snack size to the losers.

We hope you like this game as much as we do!

Sing Karaoke while wearing mouth retractors. Watching some one sing a song like "Sexy Back" by Justin Timberlake with a mouth guard/retractor while the are drooling and slurring is hilarious. It's fun for Christmas caroling too.

Extreme Spoons
Instead of placing the sons in the middle of the table,  put them all over the room in challenging places.   You have to run and get them. Careful on where you put them,  things will be broken and fought over.

It's charades with a fully dresses blow up doll. There were a few inappropriate cards that I found.  And several that are not inappropriate,  but you could easily make them inappropriate if you tried.  So,  depending on your group you may need to make a G-rated rule.
