Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Pork Chops

pork chops

This has to be the easiest and most delicious meal to make in a slow cooker.
A real family favorite!

You will need:
a package of pork chops
2 cans of your favorite cream soup
1 packet of ranch salad dressing mix (3 TBS if using a larger container)

Prepared Rice, Noodles, or Quinoa

ranch cream sauce

If desired, spray your slow cooker for easier cleanup.

Arrange your pork chops (I used a package of 6 good sized boneless pork chops).

Cover pork chops with both cans of your favorite cream soup.

Pour ranch packet on top and mix well.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

For an Instant Pot pour a cup of water in the bottom of the inner pan.  Insert rack.  On top of rack add another pan with ingredients.  Cook on manual pressure for 20 mins.

I topped the pork chops onto Forbidden Rice and spread the cream sauce over the top.
(you can use any rice, quinoa or a combo of both)

You can also cook the rice in an Instant Pot

The pork chops are tender enough to cut with a fork, and yummy enough to keep you coming back for more.

Super easy meal for company or even to take to a sick friend!

3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Ham and Cabbage

slow cooker ham and cabbage

This is a really easy and low prep meal. A real comfort food option.

Grab your slow cooker.  The only ingredients are ham, potatoes, cabbage, salt and pepper. (You can add onions, but my kids won't eat it.) You can put any amount you desire of each ingredient and it will still taste delicious.  We usually like to use an equal amount of each ingredient, but i just guess.  Does it get an easier than that?

Peel at least one potato for each person.

Cut into approximately 1" cubes.

Always rinse your cut potatoes to wash off the starch.

Place in Slow Cooker.

Salt and Pepper.

Core one whole cabbage.

Cut into wedges.

Place in slow cooker and salt and pepper.

Cut up ham into 1-2" chunks.  We tried spiral ham for the first time, it worked OK, but I recommend unsliced. You can trim the fat if desired.

Add to slow cooker and salt & pepper once more.

Stir ingredients together and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours until done.
 Stir occasionally.

If you have extra cabbage you can add more as the cabbage cooks down.

Serve with Rolls or French Bread and enjoy!
