Slow Cooker or Instant Pot Buffalo Drumsticks

mustruninthefamily.com

This is a super easy recipe for game day.

I like to buy a bunch of the family pack of chicken legs when they are on sale for $.88 per lb.
You can use any cut of chicken, cut cook times might vary and need to be adjusted.

I always spray my slow cooker with cooking spray for easy clean-up.

Stack the chicken so it fits nicely in the slow cooker.
Pour half a bottle of your favorite buffalo sauce (or make your own) over the chicken.
This helps flavor it during the cooking process.
Also, great with BBQ sauce!

For a slow cooker:
Cook on high for 3-4 hours
or low for 6-8 hours
The longer you cook them the more easily the meat falls off the bone.
If you want to ensure the meat stays on the bone for finger food, check right at the lowest set time.

For an Instant Pot:
add a cup of water or broth
Cook on manual for 30 min.

Once the chicken is cooked through, pour out the juices in the bottom of the crockpot.
Then, pour the remaining sauce over the top of the chicken and serve.
If the sauce was cold leave in the slow cooker 5-20 mins. to warm.

We hope you enjoy these drumsticks as much as we do!
