Pudding Eating Contest with a Twist

We were planning on playing Pudding Pictionay
for family night, and wanted to finish with a big bang.

I was searching Pinterest for some ideas and came across this post, that was perfect.  It's a pudding eating contest with nylons over the contestants heads. Crazy right!  They also had a some other great ideas, check out the site youthdownloads.com.

Nylon Pudding Eating Contest:
you need a cheap pair of knee high nylons
a pudding packet for each person flavor doesn't matter.

Open the pudding cup, leaving the pudding in the cup.  Pull the Nylons over your heads.  Take some before and after pictures, because it's so funny.  I promised I wouldn't post the after pictures, sorry!  They were pretty hilarious! (maybe embarrassing)

I thought I was going to get a lot of "I'm not doing that" but even my husband was eager to play.  It was so much fun, we had a great laugh afterwards.

We placed one pudding cup in front of each person, and called go.  Each person  ate the pudding from the cup, through the nylons.  We crushed the cups with our faces, making it easier to get the pudding during the contest.  We tried not to laugh to hard.

***Caution, I was laughing so hard I almost choked on the pudding.  The pudding sticks to the nylon, and when I was laughing it went up my nose a little.  After playing I could see how you might inhale the pudding.  I would only play with people capable of not aspirating on the pudding, and taking all safety precautions.  Play at your own risk.  I am not sure if the nylons were food safe or not.

So sad, the video didn't record well!
Have fun and be safe!

Poop the Potato

This game was all the rage over Christmas 2016 when it was posted on Facebook and went viral.  Here's a link to their video.  But, they didn't create the game, it's actually been around for quite a while.  It was a good reminder from childhood, and we decided to play it for our family party. We later played it at my daughter's birthday party.

This game is definitely one of those games that depending on who you are playing it with, it's either a big hit or a big miss.   People either think it's hilarious or just gross.
*Play with silly crazy fun people only.

You want to separate the group into two teams.

On one side of the room or outside, place two buckets, or clean garbage cans that are about toilet height.  (It's a great way to use all those popcorn tubs) We lined our buckets with plastic bags, but you don't have to.  I don't recommend eating the potato after.

On the opposite side of the room line up the players.  On the floor next to the starting line place all the potatoes.  We wanted to have two turns each per game, so we had two potatoes per player.

When you say start the first person in line must place a potato between their legs (close to their crotch) and walk or run across the room, as fast as they can without dropping the potato. No hands allowed!  If the potato drops they must start over.  Once they safely make it across the room, they must sit over the bucket and drop the potato into the bucket, as if they pooped it out.  Again, no hands allowed.  If the potato doesn't make it into the bucket they must start over.  They then, run back to their team. Once they've crossed the start line the next player goes.  Play continues until all players on the team have gone and successfully dropped their potato into the bucket.  The first team to finish wins.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but we actually set up the game so there was 50 ft the contestants had to walk carrying the potato between their legs.

My kids loved it, but there were a couple of people who refused to play.  They didn't want to be embarrassed seen in the pooping position and just thought it was gross.  To each their own, I guess.

I was at the store today and happened across and actual poop the potato game you can purchase, too funny.  Click here for the Amazon link.

We even play this at Easter, but using Easter eggs and Easter Baskets.  Click here for more details.
